What People Are Saying About These Headphones

Good value for this headphones!
I was expecting good value and good price to be able to listen to my music wirelessly on the go or going lately to the gym. I was good up to 33 feet away. I could connect my Iphone Touch and my computer without problem. The control volume and tracks directly from headphones were the finest thing. Handsfree calling for my mobile phone and music pauses during call, you talk through the internal mic, music resumes upon call completion. Wow, liked so much.
Rechargeable battery with USB charger included to be free of AC outlets.

Good headphones for running, reasonable price
I had been spending a lot of time searching for a good headphone for running and i think i found it. My previous purchases includes nokia bh-503 and motorola s305. The nokia is good but it is heavy on the ears.It will hurt for extended wear. I still use it as my back up because it is realible. The motorola is good when it works. I had to return the first one I got. Amazon did a great job on sending a replacement. when the second one stop working I gave up. I had read the negative reviews on the motorola and I was hoping I would be lucky and get one that actually works. oh well i am not lucky.

Enough about the other products. The tenqa is excellent for the price. One look at it and I knew I found a winner. Built quality is good and it fits perfectly. Sound quality is not the best or the worst. Bluetooth connection was a breeze. I did not use the product extensively to determine the battery life but I do not think it will be a problem. I use it for 2 hours straight out of the box, and that is good enough for me. I use it to make phone calls and I did not get any complaints from parties on the opposite end of the calls. If you need a bluetooth headphone for gym or running this is it. I have only had this product couple days but if it stops working I will be sure to update this review.

As expected
This headphone does everything I expect. I use it mostly during exercise and I find that the volume is more than sufficient. Controls on the right side work fine and I am able to receive cell phone calls without any problems. During cell phone conversations, I can hear the caller speaking but sometimes I need to speak louder for the caller to hear me.

The unit comes with a two sided USB charger and my only issue with this item is that the charger is not an outlet charger. You need to plug the unit into a computer. Obviously, this was done to save money and that caused me to rate the headphone less than 5. I don't use the headphone for computing so this makes it less useful. I have had to to reuse my old USB wall charger.

One good thing about the design at least for me is that since I use this primarily for exercise, I like the fact that the foam on the ear cups are integrated into the unit instead of the more common slip on design. The slip on design tends to come off over time, get distended and becomes a nuisance. The foam on these units will not come off unless ripped which also means they would be harder to replace.

The unit holds its charge sufficiently, I have yet to run out of charge even after 10 hours of use. Still to determine is the longterm overall durability of this unit.

Good deal for bluetooth headphones
After quite a bit of searching these were some of the best Bluetooth headphones options I could find. Most options were either crazy expensive or were single-ear devices intended only for phone calls. After some confusion I was able to pair with my cell phone and now use these headphones for listening to music.

As for calls, despite the fact that the microphone is located somewhere back in the earpiece it seemed to pick up my voice very clearly in a test call. When I received a call the music stopped and I simply pressed the phone button to take the call. When I was done, the music automatically resumed.

Comfort is one of the few complaints I need to raise here. These are wrap-around-the-back style, which I was unaccustomed to. The weight of the headphones does cause some discomfort after extended use, but at this price range I am satisfied.

Range seems to be pretty good. I can play music between floors most of the time without interruption, not that I really need to. Have not tried with jogging yet, but I can tell you that these things are not going to be flying off my head due to any bumping or jostling.

Finally, and for some most importantly, audio quality is generally quite good. These compare favorably with a lot of mid-range phones I've used. True audiophiles may be disappointed, but the average user will likely find little to complain about.

Overall, I am very satisfied. These headphones do what they say they do, and I think that comparatively they are one of the best deals around for good-quality Bluetooth headphones.

A great pair of Bluetooth headphones for a great price!
All I can say is WOW! I read all the reviews that people left about this product before buying it and was hesitant about even ordering them, but they were one of only a few that were in my price range at the time ($25 and under). Let me just say that for the price they are awesome! I needed to buy a new set of headphones because the wired ones that came with my phone had a short in them causing only 1 side to work. I have the T-mobile G1 (I feel it's important to list the type of phone that I have because no one else does, and if you are looking at buying a product it helps to know which phones it works well with and which ones it doesn't), and they work great with no problems so far! The sound quality is very good (probably not as good as Sony, or any of the other more expensive brands) for the price and the volume goes up loud enough for my tastes. All of the buttons function properly I have not yet reached the limit of the talk/listen time advertised by the manufacturer of 6 hours. I just listen to these on the bus on the way to work and then home again. The only thing I have noticed is that when I am on an actual phone call the volume is kind of quiet so I have to strain to hear her and that I have to speak up because they were having a bit of trouble hearing me. I have only talked to one person using these so far so that might just be her phone/her voice. I have not had the music change speeds yet as some people have mentioned in their reviews, but every now and again the song will cut out for a split second but then come right back on. Probably just the signal, and so it is not a deal breaker for me. Another potential problem I see is that it only comes with a USB charging cord and not one for the wall. It's not an issue to for me per se, because my phones charging cord will charge these (mini USB), but if you don't have one of those, then you will have no choice but to charge them from your computer only. The blue light on the side is a bit annoying and flashes non stop every second, but it's not too bad because when I am wearing them I can't see the light lol. As far as being ugly, I would say that they look only slightly bulkier than a pair of wired behind the head headphones I have owned in the past, so I don't think they look too awkward. They fit even around my big head, though I have noticed that if I don't adjust them properly, that it pinches the top of my right ear slightly, but I don't blame the headphones, I blame my big head and big ears lol. Sure, there are probably better Bluetooth headphones out there, but for the price (under $25) these work phenomenally!

UPDATE: 11/14/2010
These headphones are still going strong! They have definitely surpassed all my expectations! One thing I do find annoying and I am not sure if it is my phone or the headphones, but when I power on the headphones, my phone does not automatically connect to them. I have to go into the settings in my phone and tell it to connect to them. I don't have to do this with my Bluetooth headset, but it is more of a minor inconvenience and definitely would not deter me from ordering another pair in the future should these ever wear out. I do sometimes notice the speed of the music changes, but it only happens when I am using the volume control on the headphones to turn the music up and when I reach the maximum volume it beeps twice (to let me know it can't go any higher) and the speed slows down but only for about a second, then goes right back to normal speed.

Not so great
I bought these to run in - and I have a 3gs iPhone that I linked them to. The sound quality seems to be good for the price but there are 2 problems with the playback. First the music will often slow down and/or speed up on it's own. Not sure what could be causing this as I have never had this happen with other bluetooth or wired headphones. Secondly, occasionally there are skips in the playback where the music will go off for a quick second then come back on. And the phone is always strapped to my arm so it's never more than 2 feet away from the headphones. I fear I will be ordering a higher quality set of headphones soon.

Great.
I bought these headphones for my iPod touch because I was sick of wire problems with other headphones. First the shipping was incredibly fast, came in two business days. I use these headphones everyday for when I run and when I bike, the sound quality is amazing and you can just put your iPod in your pocket and go. Long battery time and great wireless sound, If your looking for a cheap good pair of wireless headphones, you would want these.

What People Are Saying About These Headphones

Excellent pair of bluetooth headphones for enjoying your music
I love these Jaybird headphones!!!! Bluetooth headphones really are one of the most convenient things for enjoying your music these days. It's great to be free of wires, and to be able to control your play settings from the earpiece. With Jaybirds you can do forward, back, play pause and even do hands-free calling. I've worked out with them once, but I don't recommend them for that. I mostly just use them around the house or at work when i want to enjoy music from my iPhone. The sound isn't BLASTING, but it is actually sufficient for my uses, so I rated the sound quality 5 stars. I know Bluetooth audio isn't as good as 3.5mm hard wired sound, BUT REALLY for wireless music you can't expect much more.. I mean... the sound is being transmitted OVER THE AIR. For what you get, these things are awesome. I love these headphones more for their convenience and comfort than their sound, althought I must say, if comparing to hardwired 3.5mm headphones, these things get a solid 4 star on sound quality. Sorry if my review seems biased... I'm really an avid music lover and bluetooth audio is my new favorite thing. If you can be lucky enough to get a pair of Jaybirds that don't have defect issues, I think you will enjoy these headphones just as much as me. Cheers! And leave a comment here if you want to know anything further.

Sweatproof? Hardly
I purchased these headphones to replace another pair of stereo bluetooth headphones that had finally started to show their wear-and-tear after two years of use.

My main use for the headphones is while running on a treadmill for 90 minutes every morning. Needless to say, a healthy amount of sweat is generated in this process. I felt that a headset with a lifetime warranty against sweat was the ticket.

I have no complaints about the sound or the feel of the headphones. They paired up to my iPod touch and my HTC Touch Pro 2 just fine. I had no issues with phone calls either.

The first pair lasted two weeks before they just stopped working. Sent them back to Amazon. Next pair lasted 20 minutes before the volume controls went all haywire and just started beeping endlessly. Sent them back to Amazon. The third pair lasted 45 minutes before they went crazy like the 2nd pair did.

I'm not trying a fourth pair - the third pair was enough for me. For the record, the return experience at Amazon was hassle-free.

They may be decent headphones if you're not working out with them, but if you are, caveat emptor.

Highly recommend over the head headphones
Okay, are you tired of headphones popping out of your ears and barely missing the toilet?
I wanted over the headphones (which are fairly common) but I wanted bluetooth also so the earphone wires don't keep getting caught and pulling the earphone out of my ears. Finally, I wanted an independent power source for the headphones. I don't want headphones sucking the life out of my iPod battery. Well, I found all three major requirements in these Jaybird headphones: blue tooth, no wires, independent power (the Jaybird has an internal, rechargeable battery). And, these headphones don't cost a fortune, but don't be fooled, the sound is terrific also.
For example, I read a lot of Audible.com books and voice reproduction is super. What about music? I play the guitar and Ukulele and they both have harmonics high enough to sound terrible on cheap headphones. With these Jaybirds, I don't have hissing, spitting, cracks, drop outs which can make string instruments sound lousy. By the way, I've paired the same headphone with my iTouch and iPhone. They all get along just fine. The best way to pair them is to turn bluetooth on first on the iPod or iPhone and then turn the Jaybird on for 6 seconds. Pretty soon, the Jaybird starts frantically blinking red and blue. Then the iDevice will announce the arrival of the SB2. Just touch the SB2 device on your iSomething and you're good to go. I have Bang and Olufsen headphones also which I like very much and the Jaybird compares favorably with the Bangs.

Suits My Needs
I really wanted this for the wireless aspect. I hate having a cord dangling when I'm at the gym. I also dislike earbuds. I knew it would be bulky since it has to accomodate the battery and transmitter/ receiver. I find that it's comfortable enough for the first hour or so. After that, my ears feel a bit squeezed. Even though it has slider adjustments for the vertical measurement, it really is a "one size fits all" for the width between ears. If your head is wider, it might be uncomfortable. It also compresses your hair if you are concerned about appearances. Sound quality is good and volume is good too. But if you are looking for audiophile quality or booming bass, you should probably look elsewhere. I saw another review that indicated poor sound isolation. I can't agree with that. I have had these for a few months now and so far, I am satisfied. I have modified these by inserting a small piece of thick felt under the earpads for extra cushion and sweat protection. Battery life is very good. The manual lists a music time of 8 hours. I would say it lasts at least that long. It comes with a spare set of earpads and a USB charger but no AC charger.

No such thing as a sweat proof headset
This is my third headset after destroying two Motorola S9 HDs. There is nothing remarkable about Jaybird SB2 headset. Quite frankly, my kids teased me because it looks like a headband women often wear. My wife got it for me from J&R Music World (Cheaper than Amazon) simply because SB2 claims to be sweat proof and comes with a two year warranty (Will see about that.) The headphone was dead within six weeks of use. Let us see, why they claim to be sweat proof. They have separated the electronics from the speakers, which is a good thing. To protect the speakers from the sweat, they glued some kind of membrane on top of it. The membranes came off from both sides within a week of coming into contact with sweat. After that it was just a matter of time for the speakers to soak up enough salt and stop working. I took every precaution like wiping them thoroughly after the workout to no avail. The headphones are rugged and sound reasonably good.

I have filed a warranty exchange with Jaybird. Today is the third day and I am still waiting for them to issue an RMA. I am convinced that I will be able to break the exchanged headphones because I really don't think that this product is sweat proof.

Update (Nov 2, 2010)
JayBird gave me a brand new piece as a warranty replacement.

JayBird SB2 Awesome
First off this was my first set of BT headphones and frankly i was a bit skeptical in purchasing BT headphones because of the price points they offer..with that being said ive been testing out the SB2s and they are quite awesome..
i use these everyday hours at a time paired with my Droid X listening to music and taking the occasional calls.
the sound quality on these things are really good, im coming from the Nixon 8mm Wires..theyre earbuds nixon makes..its not high quality sound but for normal use its awesome clean and clear without the cut out like everyone mentions, i can go all over the house upstairs and downstairs while my phone is at one spot not moving without cutting out..Bass is there but not all out..which is fine call quality is great but sometimes the other end claims i seemed to sound muffled..
comfort they feel great wearing them doesnt slide off and i can move around freely, though after wearing it for hours my ears does get a bit uncomfortable but nothing unbareable and like others say it does feel warm after just from 5 mins of being used on the ear area..
lastly price...though its a tad pricey i guess quality makes up for it...its overall a great product at this put the best headphones ive owned so far..it was only 30 bucks more than the nixons i bought and these blow that out the water..
i think these will last and perfect for anyone looking to free themselves from wired connection..its stylish and comes in many colors to suite your needs.

Best Workout Headphones Ever...EVER!!!!
I was skeptical at first when I purchased these headphones having purchased another pair from a local source which were both inadequate and did not fit comfortably. Needless to say those were returned. When I received the Jaybird headphones, they were exactly as described in the literature provided here and at the Jaybird website. The headphones fit over your ear, and if you wear in-ear hearing aids as I do this is a real nice feature. The unit is adjustable so you can get a perfect fit. Since I have a big head I was somewhat concerned that the headphones might not be wide enough since they are preformed plastic but that was not a problem as they fit over my big old head comfortably and don't pinch or make my head feel like I have a vice on it. Very comfortable. The sound quality of the unit is very good, but I have noticed that the unit will cut out periodically when being worn and I don't know if its the unit or my iPhone that is causing the issue. I bought these headphones specifically for using while bike riding and while going to the gym, but have found that I am using when when I'm outside working around the house and sometimes in the house when I'm doing housework, so needless to say they are very handy. I think the thing I love the most about these headphones - NO MORE CORD - yeah.... I don't have any other bluetooth devices but my iPhone so I don't know how these work with other devices but using them with my iPhone has been the greatest thing ever. If you are looking for a great set of headphones these are the ones you should consider. The other great thing about them is you can recharge them on any available USB port on your computer or if you have a power hub like I do you can simply plug them into that and they can recharge without having to have the computer up and running.
These are great headphones, buy them, you won't be disappointed.

Cut the Speaker Wires With Bluetooth Headphones

Bluetooth technology allows the connection of two devices in close proximity to one another at extremely high speeds using the most advanced wireless technology available on the market today.  The advancement of this technology has brought about the development of stereo bluetooth headphones thus allowing a person the free movement around their stereo equipment for up to approximately a thirty foot range.  This is not only one more step in the push to cut the electronics wire but one more step in the advancement for a higher quality of life.

Just as the addition of the wired headphone allowed for the enjoyment of high fidelity sound without disturbing others around us, the bluetooth headphones do it better without having to be constantly attached to the music source.  Once the headphones have been paired with a device, the listener is free to roam the immediate area unencumbered by the limitations of a wire that can become tangled or tripped over.  If the music source is a portable device such as an ipod or mp3 player, even more freedom is possible.

While to the most avid audiophile, the sound quality is not up to par with a quality set of wired headphones, the average listener will be more than pleased with what they hear from a pair of high quality bluetooth headphones.  As with any new technology, and this technology is still quite new, significant improvements occur at a rapid pace if the technology is accepted by all or most manufacturers.  This has definitely been the case with bluetooth and new products are arriving on the market at a fast and furious pace.

If you are presently in the market for a pair of bluetooth headphones, you will not be disappointed with the choices that you are presented.  Just like any device associated with the listening of music, locations for purchase, and price points abound when shopping for one of these innovations.  A search of the Internet or your local big box retailer will provide you with a vast array of products that will surely up your level of confusion about this type of device.  But, not to worry, there is rapidly becoming a large amount of information and testimonials available as this technology becomes more widely used.  Just like any future purchase, time spent doing the proper research will produce a great user experience and save you countless headaches and probably lots of cash.

What People Are Saying About These Headphones

Premium sound
As you would expect from Sennheiser, these BT headphones sound awesome. I paired these up after charging , with my I-Pad, and also my I-Mac without any problems whatsoever.
The controls work well, and I am very pleased with these.
I would have given a five star on these but feel that they are a little pricey.
But would still highly recommend these headphones.
They are a pleasure to listen to, and add the benefit of being wireless, or come with a cable to use wired if necessary, such as when on an airplane.

Great headphones
These are excellent headphones typical of Sennheiser. Bluetooth range is beyond what is stated. Love em.

Not what I had hoped
I had hoped that these would be the ideal headphones to use with my laptop (MacBook Pro 2.4) and they might have been if they had worked. The battery would not take a charge, the charging status LED would flash instead of giving a steady red or green. In addition, the US and AU power adapters were missing. I went ahead and tried them out with the supplied mini-phono cord and was not impressed with the sound. I had to turn the bass frequencies way up in iTunes EQ to get a decent, rich sound. My $15 in-ear Sony's have better sound. Maybe I just got a lemon set with all the problems, but these are promptly going back.

CONS=Didn't work, no bass, underpowered, missing accessories
PROS=Compact, wireless, paired with Mac OS 10.6 perfectly, Amazon's return policy for defective items is painless

Excellent product
Excellent product. As usual, SENNHEISER headphones has everything you need to experience music with great performance.

Not bad but not 10/10
Just recieved these headphones today and i'm pretty pleased with them so far.
They feel very comfortable i have to admit, not to loose and not to tight and my head is slightly bigger than the average person, lol and the sound quality is pretty awesome even with the bluetooth on. Also there very light weight and fold nicely together which make them VERY portable, they even come with a fancy carrying case .Overall, not a bad set of bluetooth headphones for the new lower price. I would recommend them to anyone as you don't have to use the bluetooth feature and could use them as regular headphones as there worth it for the quality You can download an app from the app store named "BT HELPER" its a special bluetooth app which connects through these headphones and you can now skip tracks (skip forward and backwards). I downloaded it today and it works great! Specially if you can enable the app to work in the background you don't have to use it directly through the app, but you have to have a "Special" Iphone to enable the apps to work in the background if you catch my drift ;-)
